"Meat" Me In The Kitchen...

Preparation and planning are key in sticking with a Paleo eating plan.  If I had a quarter for everytime I've heard someone say that they "don't have enough time" to eat right, I wouldn't need my day job.  So, this post is going to be a little different from most of my others.  I'm going to show you what I did today to make my life easier all week.  It's a little something I call a "Meat-stravaganza"...

It started like this:

  • 1 Pork Loin
  • 2 packages Deer Steak (courtesy of my hunting family)
  • 1 Turkey Breast

And then:

The raw meat.  Yes, I line my pans with aluminum foil. (Dishes and I do not play well together.  The less scrubbing I have to do the better!)

And after about 90 minutes at 375 degrees - the finished products:

(I also baked a Buttercup squash which was still baking at picture time.)

My total preparation time was less than 20 minutes and the oven did the rest.  And now I've got meat for the week!

Are you prepared??
