  1. Tombstone, indeed.
    Finally! Truth in advertising!
You know, when I was playing DI soccer and lifting heavy, I used to eat those and stuff like it all the time.
I can only hope the choices I'm making now can undo the damage.

I guess my question is: does this type of product serve a purpose? Corporate greed ONLY? Salt, wheat, calorically dense. . . and almost completely nutrient free. Is it true that eating healthily/cleanly is expensive enough that some socioeconomic populations are excluded and forced to eat their way to an early tombstone -- or is it just a combination of laziness and instant gratification?

  3. Kreuzfit, thanks for the comment! Think about how much of a better D1 athlete you could have been with a better diet! You might be Pro- by now!! ;)
As far as laziness or gratification - it's probably a combination of both. These types of foods are the norm now - fruits and vegetables are so 20 years ago... These days if if doesn't come in a package and contain at least 3 ingredients you've never heard of, in most peoples minds, it's going to taste bad!! It's very sad!
